Kona

Kona is a special painting that I made for my art teacher in high school. She is such a wonderful person who makes those around her feel special and loved. 

Although my comfort place has always been holding a paint brush, her class was a special refuge to me. She was always someone who I could rely on for both encouragement for my art and in life. I am forever thankful for the confidence that I gained in her art room and the rapport that she gave me.

Kona is a sweet, timid puppy who would occasionally visit the art room. She would often hide under the desk when people were around, but she has the same calm spirit as Ms. G.
